Fit Those Blocks Together
Using your spatial reasoning, you have to quickly fit a number of blocks together in order to progress to the next stage. Each block has patterns on certain faces, and those faces will only join together with other faces of the same pattern. As the player, you find yourself in the Quantum Cube Disposal Facility. The game sees you surrounded by cubes and it is your job to take those cubes and fit them together until they are all gone. The graphics in CubeWorks are as good as any you'll see in the current generation of VR games. The art style is satisfyingly futuristic without being totally devoid of colour.The developers have taken great care to ensure the cubes remain the focus of the player. One drawback is that the, in the later stages, the time it takes already linked cubes to clear can hamper the player by being in the way.
Great In Short Bursts
CubeWorks is undoubtedly one of the better VR puzzle games currently available.Due to the nature of what your hands will be doing, you'll want to play in short bursts, but other than that this is a solid puzzler.
